The LGHS Music Boosters Mission
The purpose of the Los Gatos High School Music Boosters is to promote and support our high school music program, which enriches our students, our school, and the Los Gatos community, through logistics, funding, and advocacy.
We are a community organization whose purpose is the advancement of musical education through support of the music education programs at Los Gatos High School. We do this in three ways:
- Logistics: We provide logistical support—chaperones, arranging transportation, lugging gear, and so forth.
- Funding: We provide valuable funds that are used to purchase equipment for the musical programs at the High School: instruments, maintenance, and ancillary equipment like uniforms, flags, rifles and sabres for the Color Guard, electronics, and props for Marching field shows. In addition, we provide financial assistance to families with special needs in pursuing musical education at Los Gatos High School.
- Advocacy: We promote LGHS Music at the school and in our community.
Los Gatos High School Music Boosters is a non-profit corporation recognized under section 501(c)3 of the Federal Tax code.
